Meet Our Coaching Staff

Emma Hubbell

— Head Athletic Trainer

Emma Hubbell has been with the Potters since 2018. She attended received her A.S. in Athletic Training from Ohlone College in 2016 and her B.S. in Atheltic Training from CSU Sacramento in 2017. She also received her Certification in Massage Therapy in 2019 from the National Holistic Institute. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer as of 2018 with other certifications in: Corrective Exercise, Fitness Nutrition, Performance Enhancement, and Basic Life Support. Hubbell is a member of the California, Far West, and National Athletic Trainer’s Associations. She continually comes back each summer to #PotterUp and knows Lincoln is her home for the summer. She currently works at Rhodes College as an Assitant Athletic Trainer. Hubbell currently resides in Memphis, TN with her husband, Tyler and kitty, Nala. 

Eli Garcia

— Field Manager

Eli Garcia, a Lincoln native, played parts of five seasons for the Potters from 2017 to 2021. After graduation from Lincoln High School in 2016, Garcia continued playing collegiately at Sierra College then later transferred to Cal State Northridge where he spent a season on the pitching staff for the Matadors. Following his college career, he began helping evolve young ball players with the local youth development team, the Peloteros. Garcia was then hired as the head coach of Roseville High School’s Varsity baseball team prior to the 2024 spring season where he led Tigers to a 17-9-1 record in his first season.

Nate Kujawski 

— Assistant Coach

Nate Kujawski joined the St. Bonaventure Athletics staff in August 2024 as a pitching coach with the Bonnies Baseball program and in his first season with the program in 2025.

Kujawski played at the University of Evansville, as a relief pitcher, making 11 appearances during his time with the Missouri Valley Conference program. Prior to arriving in Evansville, Kujawski pitched for Sierra Community College, and Chandler Gilbert Community College. His collegiate playing career was highlighted by a CCCAA Regional appearance with Sierra College under Rob Willson. And an MVC championship appearance. Following his college career, Kujawski had a stint in independent professional baseball playing in the Pioneer League.

A native of Denver, Colorado, spent this past summer as a pitching and assistant coach for Slammers Baseball in Colorado.

Kody Keroher

— Director of Player Development

Keroher was the Potters’ Pitching Coach from 2018 to 2019 and helped the staff dominate on the mound. He played at and graduated from the University of Nevada Reno after a two-year stint at Solano Community College. In 2004, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 46th Round of the Major League Baseball Draft. After his playing career, Keroher worked as the Pitching Coach for Solano from 2008 to 2012 where he led the Falcons to five league championships and two Super Regional appearances. He is formerly the Director of Operations and Facilities at Sacramento State University and he and his family reside in Rocklin, CA.

Tyler Malone

— Assistant Coach

Tyler Malone joined the Potters’ coaching staff last summer and will return as an assistant coach for the upcoming season. This past fall, he began his first season at the Division I level, serving as the Director of Player Development at Dallas Baptist University under Head Coach Dan Heefner.

Malone played at Oregon State University from 2017 to 2019 under Hall of Fame Head Coach Pat Casey. In 2017, he was part of a team that set several school and conference records, including the most single-season wins in program history (56-6). In 2018, the Beavers won the College World Series, and Malone was named to the All-Tournament Team after hitting .304 with three home runs and eight RBIs over OSU’s eight games in Omaha.

In 2019, Malone was drafted by the San Diego Padres and played through all minor league levels up to Triple-A, seeing time as a catcher, outfielder, and first baseman. In 2023, he transitioned to coaching, assisting with the development of PXF Athletics in Arizona while also contributing to Nelson University’s inaugural season in 2024 under Head Coach Josh Milner.

Malone earned a Bachelor of Science in History and a minor in Leadership from Oregon State University in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. A native of Roseville, California, he graduated from Woodcreek High School in 2016.
